Lovino Elektro is a family-owned electrical company based in Windisch and Niederrohrdorf, Switzerland.
Task
Ahead of their 30-year anniversary, they wanted to update their 7 page, unresponsive website, which they believed had too much content. They were looking for a simple one-page design, with a gallery for showcasing their work, a section for presenting the team, and announce job-opportunities. It was also important to create a straightforward way for customers to fill out a request for a quote, with the possibility of attaching photos to further explain what work is required.
Approach
Lovino had a great icon or “mascot” and a logo for us to work with, and defined corporate colors which we needed to adhere to. As the icon is bold and humorous, we based the web design on these qualities. We created a background pattern with part of the icon. The shape of buttons and info boxes refer to the shape of the icon and the curvature of the logo font. We created a custom pop-up window, allowing customers to directly contact the team as well as attach files.
Outcome
A fun, functional and stylish website with personality.
