HBT-ISOL is a Swiss company specialising in advanced insulation systems for HVAC and industrial applications, known for their technical precision, engineering expertise, and custom solutions across construction and industry sectors.
Task
HBT-ISOL, a specialist in insulation systems for HVAC and industrial applications, needed a visual upgrade for how their products were represented across materials. Their previous use of photographs and mixed styles lacked consistency and failed to clearly communicate the product categories and applications—especially in technical contexts like construction documentation and presentations. The illustrations needed: to be scalable for large-format use on conference banners, and integrate seamlessly into printed brochures and marketing collateral.
Approach
We designed a full suite of technical illustrations tailored to HBT-ISOL’s product ecosystem. These images showcase not only the products themselves—such as suspension systems, ducts, and machine insulation—but also how they are used in situ within concrete structures or mechanical rooms. Our visual strategy was centred around creating a consistent and elevated style that would work equally well across screen and print.
Outcome
The illustrations now form a part of HBT-ISOL’s visual communication strategy. Whether viewed in brochures, on technical sheets, or blown up at industry events, they deliver clarity and professionalism while reinforcing a strong, coherent brand aesthetic.
